Ouch
I completed 106 sit ups today and I can feel the burn already. Tomorrow should be interesting but no pain no gain, right?! I will be getting up early and getting 4 miles in tomorrow morn. Three more days until weigh in, gonna make them count!

200 sit ups
Today I am starting the 200 sit ups challenge. I'm a wee bit skeered cause my abs are mush after 3 csections but hopefully this will help tone what's left of the abs I have in there somewhere. If anyone is interested in joining me here's the website: http://twohundredsitups.com/

Tootin' my own horn!
I walked 10.8 miles this week and am down a total of 8 pounds now. I'm proud of myself and the sliding scale continues to fuel my motivation. One day at a time girls. We can and are capable of doing this! :)

It's looking up
Or I guess I should say down. As of this morning I've lost just about 5 pounds! Happy dance.
I wanted to blog this weekend but time just got away from me. My nutrition class is fun and I'm learning quite a bit about what your body really needs to function and the balance of nutrients you should aim for each day. It's been a stressful week but the last thing I want to turn to now is food. Do you know how odd that is for me to say? I'm such an emotional eater but this week I ran from the kitchen.
I'm thinking I should probably go take some pictures before I lose too much so that I have a good before picture. I really don't want to see it though so I've been avoiding the torture.
I hope everyone else had a good weekend. I promise to try and get around to other blogs this week. I commented on a few last week but I need to make it a priority to be supportive of others. I've enjoyed the comments others have left for me here. Thank you! It really does help.

Not so hot
I am not doing well so far. I start out good and do fine throughout the day but after dinner I am a snacking maniac... last night it was ugly. Where do I get the motivation to stay out of the kitchen? I need to make a rule of no eating after 9pm. Old habits are going to be hard to break. *sigh*

Nutrition 10
Tomorrow morning I have my first session in my nutrition class. I am pursuing my RN degree and this class is a required course, it just so happens that I registered for it this semester. Kind of a kawinky dink that this BL challenge came up at the same time! Woot! I hope that I am forced to take a good look at my diet and make necessary, healthy changes. It's time I focused on me and I think this class will help me make that a priority.
I want to make a list of daily/weekly goals and post them here as a visual reminder too. I weigh more now than I ever have in my life, including three pregnancies, and honestly to say that I hate the way I feel and look would be a severe understatement. Changes are going to be made and I know I'll feel so much better both physically and mentally once I get into a routine with exercise and logging the food I shove in my piehole.
I'm off to dust off and pack my backpack and make tomorrows lunches for the littles. I will pack myself a healthy snack to have on campus too, baby carrots sound good...
